We use the bikes that David has and it helped a lot to go to the beach or the center.
It's better to take taxis on the road as they are cheaper. Or try to catch the bus on the way, otherwise, it's 5e per person from the place itself. From the road it's possible to play 4 or 3.5.
The beach in front is a bit harsh to swim but taking the bikes and 5 min away, you can find very nice beaches. Better than staying in Bocas directly.

Be ready for big, healthy breakfasts with fresh juice, fruit bowls, pancakes, eggs and more. Lots of fuel for the day, which I needed due to my obsessive surf habit. Definitely rent a quad while you’re there, as taxis get expensive quick. We definitely had an amazing time. If you’re looking for a resort style hotel- this isn’t the place. But if you’re good with a rustic, cabin villa style bed and breakfast with a warm friendly vibe, it’s a no brainer. Oh and the Wi-Fi worked well too.
